Thorlabs ScienceDesk™product is a modular system designed to provide an ergonomic alternative to conventionalworkstations and meet therequirements of modern production and clean room environments in the telecommunications, biotechnology and R & D fields. Six standardwork-surface sizes are availableranging from 2' x 3' (600x 900mm) to 3' x 4' (900 x 1200mm), all at a standard height of 30.6" (765mm). The lightweight all-aluminumScienceDesk frame constructionfeatures heavy-duty castors for ease of installation. The frames are available in four levels of vibration isolation: active, passive, passive heavy-duty and rigid. The framesare designed to accept breadboardsfrom three of our product lines (the Ultralight™, Performance™ and PerformancePlus™) allowingflexibility in creating a workstationwith an array of vibration isolation possibilities.Many accessories are available toallow the design of customized workstations. There is a full array ofshelving options, keyboard holders,monitor holders, grounding kits, etc. The shelving accessories are ESD compliant.
