Thorlabs Optics a la Cart is ideal for applications where an experiment needs to remainmobile, before being moved to an optical table. The rigid heavy-duty construction supports up to 550kg (1200 lbs). The frame comes mounted with four adjustable leveling mounts to support any 600 x 900mm (2'x 3') or larger table top such as a breadboard (See pages 15-30) and allows the height to be varied +0.75". Four swiveling lockable casters prevent the cart from undesired movement as well as allowing the cart to be maneuvered through tight spaces typical in crowded labs. The lower section of the cart offers storage space for up to four standard Thorlabs Essentials Kits (see pages 711-718), instrumentation etc. In addition the upper portion can be fitted with an optional utility drawer, ideal for storing tools and smaller items such as optics. Thorlabs Optics a la Cart makes the perfect addition to any lab. The multifunctional lab cart allows instrumentation to remain mobile as well asproviding extra work space to store tools in use and other items next to an opticaltable. The table top is constructed from non-conductive, impact resistant maple and is supported by a welded steel frame. Two standard sizes 24" x 24" and 24" x 36" are offered to fit your application. Every cart is equipped with swiveling lockable castersto provide easy mobility throughout the lab.
