The accessories for Thorlabs’ ScienceDeskseries of workstations provide an array of custom configurations to meet almost any workspace requirements, maximizing comfort and productivity. A multitude of shelves are available including overhead shelves, side shelves and lower shelves to support test instrumentation, computers and tools. All shelves are ESD compliant. A monitor mount allows standard flat panel monitors to be supported off the work surface. Keyboard mounts and a wrist rest are also available to further enhance an ergonomic workspace. Earth grounding kits and Faraday Enclosures make the ScienceDesk workstations a great choice for more sensitive applications.Our ScienceDesk accessories are available for allmodels of the ScienceDesk frames. Accessories can bemounted in a multitude of locations to maximize yourcomfort and productivity, also allowing a workspace to be reconfigured as requirements change.

The rear-mount overhead shelf with monitor mounting brackets, spans the rearof the ScienceDesk™, providing a shelf width of 300mm (11.8"). The shelf is mounted on two 600mm high posts and the shelf height is adjustable. Theshelf’s top surface is ESD compliant to minimize electrostatic discharge. Eachshelf has a 75kg (165 lbs) load capacity, and comes with 2 mounting brackets with multidirectional pivot clamp, which supports most types of flat screens. The side mount shelf is designed to span the length of the ScienceDesk as opposed to the rear mount shelf (shown left) which spans the width of the ScienceDesk. The under shelf spans the rear of the ScienceDesk, providing a shelf depth 260mm (10.2").The shelf is mounted on the side rails of the lower frame. The top surface of the shelf is coated with electrostatic-resistant material to minimize electrostaticdischarge, and it has a 75kg (165 lbs) load capacity.
