Linear actuator advantages A Thomson Tollo actuator with 100 mm stroke can provide 6800 N of force from a 300 mm long package. This means that pneumatic and hyudralic cylinders easily can be replaced thus saving energy, space and power sources while making control easier and accurate positioning possible.
