Documents and unstructured informationmanaged in files are a major source of product information and detail. Companies describe products with differ- ent authoring tools and produce dozens, and sometimes hundreds, of different file formats from disparate sources like Office applications, CAD systems, CAE sys- tems, bitmap and vector-based graphical editors, etc.These files may be internally produced orreceived from different participants in the product development process collaborat- ing with the company, such as suppliers, partners and clients. Usually, it is eco- nomically inconvenient and practically unmanageable to have all the authoring or viewing applications installed on every workstation.To meet these challenges, think3 hasdesigned a module that integrates AutoVue from Cimmetry Systems into its thinkteam and webteam solutions. AutoVue and the related thinkteam and webteam integrations are available as thinkview and webview, respectively. You can render the model in several 3D modes including shaded model, wireframe, silhouette and hidden line removal View 2D modes and drafts of models Color and highlight different parts of assemblies Support for GD&T(Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) data Support for PMI (Product Manufacturing Information) data EDAViewing Features View all relevant EDAformats includ-ing: Artwork formats, PCB / IC Layouts, Schematics and Manufacturing formats Cross Probe between a PCB Layout and related schematics. Select a net or component in a Schematic and it will be located and highlighted in the Layout, or vice versa Verify Design. Test for manufacturabili- ty or design violations (i.e., pad/trace/component clearances, drill hole size, via counts, net width/length, short circuits, unrouted nets, empty nets, unconnected pins, etc.) by set- ting multiple tolerances/constraints. Export the detected violations and share with others to shorten the over- all design cycle and accelerate production

3D Viewing Features thinkview is a desktop application, inte-grated with thinkteam, allowing a user to open a file stored in the Vault in native format and manipulate it without actually altering the file content.
