Webteam provides web-based access forsharing thinkteam information over the Internet or within Extranets and Intranets. It is an ideal solution for providing access to product information to a larger user community. Part numbers, product structure, BOMs and documents are readily available for viewing with a standard browser. No software client installation is required. CAD files can be automatically published to the webteam server. Webteam thinkview and its web based edition, webview, are think3's multi-format view, mark-up and redline solutions. Communicating design intent is key to successful PLM. Clients' ability to view files, without a license of the authoring application, improves engineering and manufacturing operations. Visual applications of thinkview greatly improve the process of communicating technical information throughout the enterprise. Integrated either into thinkteam or webteam products, thinkview enables effective distribution of multi-format documents and markup collaboration functionalities. thinkview and webview thinkprint enhances document printingcapabilities, eliminating the need of output devices configuration for each workstation. Using thinkprint allows users to define virtual devices to customize printing capabilities before the output is sent to a physical device. Drivers configurations and updates, plotters and printers management are no longer a problem. thinkteam users can access the full printing capabilities available in the company, but in a controlled environment. thinkprint thinkmaintain is a Maintenance Managementapplications allowing the creation of As Built configurations for a product. Users can track the evolution, over time, of each single serial number delivered to a client. Functionalities like part replace, add or delete allows users to monitor the evolution of a single product instance when maintenance activities take place. The capability to link documents to part numbers instances, used in a specific product serial number, allows users to document maintenance activities. As Built configurations may be created starting from the Engineering BOM or loaded from As Built reports produced by an MRPor ERPsystem. thinkmaintain thinkparts Manager is a tool for authoringcatalogs of corporate design standards. Catalog entries may include 3D parametric models and 2D drawings, created with either thinkdesign or originating from other systems or parts libraries. thinkparts Manager also provides for the attachment of documentation, assignment of parts numbers, and creation of classification systems so engineers can quickly find needed parts. Libraries of standard parts created with thinkteam are easily searched, and parts from such libraries can automatically orient themselves in a new design. By simplifying the creation and use of standard parts, thinkteam helpsmanufacturers lower inventory costs and improve product quality. thinkparts Manager thinkconfigure is a revolutionary addition tothink3's suite of PLM applications. thinkconfigure ties together thinkdesign and thinkteam, automating the engineering and design processes for customized and configurable products. This provides manufacturers of engineer-to-order and configure-to-order products an efficient environment for mass customized products. With thinkconfigure users can select optionsfrom a menu, and the system then asks for specifications. After inputs are checked for consistency according to predefined engineering knowledge, the product configurator automatically generates the BOM, the 3D assembly model and 2D drawings for the customized product. thinkconfigure enables enterprises to deliver Design-to-Order (DTO) solutions. Companies can reduce cycle times, decrease costs, increase quality, and be more responsive to customer demands. thinkconfigure Built for the enterprise, complete ECR/ECOmanagement capabilities track all product changes from creation to completion, alerting all concerned parties by email at each step of the change process. thinkchange

rules, database schema and a userinterface to tailor thinkteam and other optional thinkPLM applications to customer requirements. Advanced customization tools like the Applications Program Interface (API) and .NETWeb Controls library allow users to easily implement complex requirements. The API is an enhanced library/toolkit, which enables users to create custom applications that interact with the thinkteam kernel, while .NETWeb Controls allow users to easily create custom web applications for managing thinkteam data.
