The panel meter DM20 series is an horizontal 48 x 96 mm panel mounting instrument suited for digital 3 or 3 and ½ digits (13,5mm) display of industrial variables as temperature, voltage, current, R.H., position, pressure, ecc. It can be connected directly to the transducers or to standard current (0 20 mA 4 20 mA ) or voltage (0-1, 0-5, 0-10Vdc) signal transmitters . In addition to the display function, these instruments are able to support up to two set points selectables over the entire range. For the setting, two frontal knobs equiped with an internal micro-switch allow the display and the setting of respective set point. Normally the knobs are in idle position. So turning them there is not set point change. Pressing the knob the display is switched and at the same time the turning gear of internal potentiometer is engaged. In this manner any unrealized set change is protected.

1, 0 5, 0 10Vdc). Oltre l’indicazione, questi strumenti possono essere provvisti di due punti di intercettazione selezionabili su tutta la scala. A questo fine sono previste sul frontale due manopole dotate di un micro-switch interno che permettono di impostare e visualizzare i rispettivi set points. Normalmente ogni manopola si trova in posizione di folle, così ruotandola non viene alterato il set point. Premendola si commuta la visualizzazione e contemporaneamente viene ingranato il meccanismo di trascinamento del potenziometro interno. In tal modo si evita ogni possibilità di modificare i punti di intercettazione senza rendersene conto. Le applicazioni di questi strumenti toccano tutti i settori industriali. Le caratteristiche costruttive dello strumento rispondono alle norme DIN43700, VDE0110, UL508.

For thermocouples and resistance thermometers there is non linearity compensation so that error is better than two digits.
