Corrosion resistant sleeves:Thermowell sleeve from Tantalum
( Tantalium ) or Titanium fit over a
standard stainless steel
thermowell
and provides an economical way to
protect against corrosion of highlycorrosive chemical solutions andagents.Corrosion resistant coating:PTFE/PFA/PVDF Teflon®/Kynar® or
Halar® coating give very good
corrosive resistance to almost allchemicals. Very good heat resistantand also has cryogenic stability. Used for Food and Beverage,
Pharmaceutical, Acid, Caustic and
Electroplating applications.Abrasion resistant overlay: Deloro Stellite® or Eutalloy® as anwelded overlay result in an excellent
wear resistant
thermowell. Thermowells drilled from solid bar andlonger than 2500mm are made by
welding each individual part together
by a Full-Penetration weld to uptain a
buit-up
thermowell with a straight or
tapered tip.Stepped bore to uptain optimalresponse times.
Each welded-joint is fully tested to
ASME requirements section IX.
These
thermowells are made to
specifications and can be supplied
with additional certificates and testsperformed:Material Certificate 3.1
Liquid penetrant of all the weldings
PMI test on each individual part
X-Rays
Hydrostatic external pressure test on
flanged
