These thermowells are produced as replacements for existing units or for use with other instrumentation such as bimetal and filled sys-tem temperature indicators, temp switches, resistance ther-mometers and thermocouples manufacturers. A thermowell machined from solid bar stock offers a higher integ- rity for those more demanding process parameters and where process pressures are expected to be in excess of 10 bar. Where lower pressures are expected a fabricated thermowell is adequate.

S P E C I F I C A T I O N

Stem Materials : 304, 316 and 310 stainless steel, Hastelloy C, Mo- -nel, Nickel 200, Titanium (fabricated thermowells in 316L only). Construction : solid drilled from bar stock with parallel or tapered Stem. Fabricated thermowells in solid drawn tube/ pipe and parallel stem. Bore : 6.2mm, 6.5mm, 7.0mm, 8.2mm, 10mm, 13mm or 16.2mm. Other diameters on request. Fabricated thermowells, dependant on tube/pipe diameter. Immersion length : ‘U’ lengths up to 500mm as standard, longer lengths available on application. Tip : flat, domed or hemispherical, fabricated thermow- ells, flat. Process connection
