Hermetically SealedPT100 Resistance Thermometer Probe

Originally designed to service the requirements for a robust PT100resistance thermometer for use on skid mounted or portable process plant within the pharmaceutical industry.The assembly utilises an aerospace/military style of connector whichenables the probe to be left in position during CIP procedures or w hilst undergoing sterilisation cycles.

S P E C I F I C A T I O N

Sheath: 6.0mm OD (min) x 150mm long (min) in 316 stainless steel.Connector: with 6 gold plated copper pins and hermetically sealed within a glass based dielectric to the 316 stainless steel outer case. Bayonet type coupling with location notch.Mating socket: with conical shaped lead in for the mating pins and shell body in nickel plated aluminium.Construction: sheath, connector and reducing shell are all in 316. Stainless steel and TIG welded.Detector: duplex PT100 with 3 wire connection, Class ‘B’, ‘A’ or fractional DIN tolerance and to EN BS 60751:1996.Flying lead: PTFE insulated copper conductors, 7/0.16mm to ASTM-B- 298 and a 250V RMS rating. The lead wire is held within a protective silicone sleeve and encased in a 7mm OD flexible conduit, in 302 stainless steel., overall length of 1500mm.Operating range: -50 to +260°C.

Environmental The open connector of the probe can resist temperatures equivalent to theoperating range, differential pressures of 69 Bar and is unaffected by steam or wetconditions.
