According to DVGW leaflet G465-4, gas detectors are approved for above-ground gas detection up to the "lower explosive limit (LEL)". Testo's gasdetector is a multi-range gasdetector for the gas types methane, propane and hydrogen. Gas concentrations are measured by the semi-conductor sensor in the ppm range and are shown in the display with aresolution of 1 ppm. •Audible signals whenapproaching the lower explosion limit•Continuous sound and displaywhen the explosion limit is reached
