| | | Application The 43000 Series are a range of shuttle operated flow switches and offer low cost, robust, and reliable flow monitoring with a low-pressure drop. It is suitable for use with fresh or salt water up to a temperature of 125oC Physical Description The switch body is manufactured from a high quality brass stamping. The threaded connections are 3/4" NPT. The switch assembly is screwed into the body and sealed by an 'O' ring. It can be easily removed if cleaning is necessary. The switch unit is a magnet and reed switch type. Installation Considerations A slight accumulation of debris within shuttle type units will not affect the operation, but 150-micron filtration is recommended and any sizable amount of debris should be removed. The switch can be cleaned without disturbing the installation by un-screwing the switch retaining nut. This allows the switch and shuttle assembly to be easily removed. | | |
