Before use. the tube end should be enlarged like a trumpet and pushed into the bottom of a valve port (Figure 1). ■ With flare types, a ferrule called a "Seal Joint' Is attached for easy connection (Figure 2). The Seal Joint Is a component molded In a flange shape. Simply insert the Seal Joint Into the end of the tube for use. ■ For elastic tubing such as silicone, barb types are very convenient (see the picture on your right-hand side). Screw fittings into the valve ports beforehand and then connect tubing to the barb section of the fitting. | |

| | If you would like to install valves compactly and connect flow-paths over a short distance, the Manifold is the best choice. If you let us know the flow-pattern you require, we can design and produce the product to meet your requirements, A variety of shapes, materials, and structural methods are available and we are also capable of equipping the manifold with components like pumps. Please contact us for further details. | With normal solenoid vaives. for example a normally-closed valve, the solenoid valve should be continuously energized to hold it open. With the latching solenoid valve, you do not have to continuously supply electricity to the coil as it uses a permanent magnet to keep the valve's position (either open or closed). The advantages are as follows: [1] Environmentally friendly, energy-saving No need to be energized to hold the position, resulting In a saving of energy. (Note) Switching positions needs the valve to be energized. [2] Less heat generation As continuous energization is unnecessary, the latching solenoid valve generates less heat. It is suitable for temperature-sensitive applications. [3] Small but powerful A normal solenoid can consume large amounts of electricity, therefore to prevent the coil from overtieating it is necessary to Increase the size of the coil to reduce the heat-generation, or to decrease the amount of time it Is energized. The latching solenoid produces greater power compared to Its size and for the length of time it Is energized. This enables us to offer a small valve that Is powerful and independent from the open/oiose time. | |
