Products for demanding applications

2135 5 Track Reader HD The HD Track Reader is specially designed to withstand the tough requirement of being directly mounted on the sleeper in rail applications. The unique built-in doppler radar can be used to determine the direction of a passing train, even in cases where the train has no ID-tag. TagMaster’s RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) system operates in the 2,45GHz frequency band. TagMaster has refined this RFID technology and developed a range of readers and ID-tags that are used within Supply Chain Management. These products are used worldwide in logistics applications, which require identification and positioning at high speed, with high precision and in demanding environments. 4 Heavy Duty Reader TagMaster Heavy Duty readers are designed to withstand environmental factors such as temperature, moisture, shock and vibration. This allows them to be mounted directly on the outside of vehicles. This reader can be used to provide positioning information for systems onboard a vehicle. 1 Heavy Duty ID-tag ID-tags are mounted on the front, side, top or underneath each individual vehicle or in special tag fixings. The ID-tag is an extremely resistant, totally encapsulated and maintenance free tag. It has a predictable life expectancy of 6, 8 or 10 years, depending on the model selected. The Heavy Duty ID-tag also comes in EX versions that are approved for use in hazardous areas. 3 Handheld Reader The TagMaster Handheld reader is a read/write unit, which is integrated with an Industrial Pocket PC PDA. The versatility of the PDA together with the flexibility of this technology makes the Handheld Reader an ideal supplement to stationary readers in applications where the user requires portability. 2 Standard Reader Standard readers are suitable for most installations. Readers can be installed at key locations where assets need to be identified as they pass by. The reader identifies the ID-tag at a range of up to 6 metres and at passage speeds of up to 400km/h.
