™ MCA i1040XT was designed for the rigors of today’s demanding healthcare environments in order to improve patient care by optimizing workflow efficiencies and easing clinician workloads. Traditionally, medical professionals have utilized paper charts, stationary desktop PCs and equipment wheeled around on bulky carts to perform common activities including collecting patient history, monitoring medications, reviewing test results and x-rays, and updating patient information. Using a MediSlate
™ MCA in tandem with their existing EMR systems, nurses and clinicians are able to perform these same tasks easily and directly at the point-of-care by inputting data via its 2D/1D barcode scanner,2.0 megapixel camera and resistive touch screen; all while receiving required data via built-in Wi-Fi® wireless networking or Bluetooth®.The MediSlate
™ MCA i1040XT is a full powered computing device encased in a semi-rugged, sealed and IP54 rated smooth surface enclosure that enables it to be easily wiped clean and disinfected to reduce the spread of germs.
