The linear precision of the runningslider depends on the rail and,
specifically, on the longitudinal
parallelism between the raceways
and precision of the surface to which
they are mounted. As a result, two slider precision valuesare determined, one referring to the
surface the rails is fixed to ( = A ) and
the other ( = B ) to the precision of
supporting rail.
Precision is achieved when the
surfaces are aligned.When all screws are correctlytightened, the MR rail aligns with the
fixing surface, and this adds up tothe construction linear precision ofthe same rail.
When the MR-rail is loose, it may
result slightly curved. However, thisdoes not give rise to any problem ofalignment, once the rail is properly
fixed.

CATALOGUE - 40355 Maintenance
The roller’s internal elements are
lubricated and protected by double lipseals (2RS). As a result, they are
maintenance free.The sliders of the MONORACE andTWINRACE systems are equipped with
lateral seals and a system of strong railwipers, which incorporate a lubrificationsystem, assuring a release of lubricating
oil on the raceways overtime. This gives
a maintenance free systemfor the entirelifetime, under normal clean operationalenvironment.
A similar rail wiper and lubrificationsystem is also standard assembled onthe entire system of TELERACE
telescopic rails of the TLR series.
In case the wipers with integratedlubrication system is disassembled,
it is necessary to provide a periodic
manual lubrication of the raceways,
to assure a sufficient lubrication on
the contact areas. In addition, it is
also necessary to regularly clean the
raceways for impurities or other
residues.
For lubrification we recommend to
apply standard Litium soap
lubrication, specific for ball
bearings.

Corrosion Resistance
All MR and FXR rails have a surfacetreatment, which guarantees thehardness and offers a high resistance
to corrosion. As the surface treatmentis carried out after working theraceways, the complete surface has
a high corrosion protection also onthe raceways.The treatment gives the rails an
overall black finish.
In comparison to traditional electrolyticgalvanization zinc plating, this surfacetreatment offer a much better corrosionresistance protection of the rails, which
usually are more exposed to corrosionthan the sliders.All sliders and intermediate plate in TLR
telescopic rails have an electrolytic zincplatting surface treatment.
