University of Erlangen. The acceleration
curves increase the flow speed at the sepa-
ration edges several times over. The sharp
separation edge causes a continually
defined reduction in flow at the back of
the unit. Result: The resistance coefficient re-mains constant throughout the entire
sampling range. The degree of preci-
sion is maintained even in the lower
turbulent sampling range because
there is no critical drift of the break-
off point. Sampling ranges of 1:30 and
