All Sunnex workplace lighting is designed andmanufactured according to applicable safety standards and regulations. Many models have endorsements from both European and American testing institutes.Because we are constantly developing ourlighting designs, certain models may have received different approvals since this catalogue was printed. Please contact us for exact infor- mation about which approvals a particular model currently holds. HOW DO I FIND THE RIGHT LIGHTING? For the eight different lighting series availablefrom Sunnex, the name of each lamp model derives from the design of its head.Lighting in the HS series, for instance, builds upon the Halogen Spot head. Each lamp head is designed with itsown unique properties as regards light ergonom-ics,heat production, adjustability and impact resistance.Together with each lighting series, you will finda lux diagram. The lux diagram shows the strength and distribution of light produced by each particu- lar lamp. The measurement is taken at a point 40 cm fromthe light source.Using the lux dia- gram, you can select which lighting will produce the particular light qualities you desire. TOLERANCE TO DUST AND HUMIDITY? To classify different lighting equipment for itsresistance to contact with, and penetration by, solid objects and water,we use the IP safety classification system.Unless otherwise stated, all Sunnex lighting meets requirements for safe-ty class IP20.This is an industry standard,imply-ing a certain resistance to dust. Most Sunnex standard lighting also meets standards for class IP65,which means that it is both dust-proof and water resistant. If you have any questions about the IP classi-fication system, please contact the Sunnex Support at +46-565-17777. FLEXIBLE ARM,SPOT OR RIGID ARM? Each lighting series is based on a single lamphead supplemented by one of a variety of diffe- rent arms, such that you get lighting that suits your needs in the best possible way.Choosebetween a bendable flexible arm,a spotlight or arigid jointed arm. 12V,24V OR 230V? In most cases,Sunnex lighting is available forany of the following voltages:12V,24V,and 230V. C-CLAMP OR BENCHTOP BASE? Standard mounting equipment for all Sunnex light- ing is a simple screwclamp.Should you wish to have a different means of attachment, such as a stable benchtop base, you can order this separa-tely. BLACK OR WHITE? The standard colour for Sunnex lighting, unlessotherwise stated,is black. But it is also available in the optional off-white.Remember to note this on your order.
