| What is an Air Knife System? Air Knife Systems utilize compressed air for industrial applications that include drying, removing excess oils and liquids, dust blow off, and cooling. An Air Knife is effective and efficient. The laminar (uniform) sheet of air is projected along the entire length of the Air Edger to provide an air flow that covers the entire surface of the product. Streamtek Corp., Air Knives have a slim profiles, are manufactured in various lengths and can be mounted to suite your industrial applications involving conveyors and webs, even in tight spaces. Common Air Knife System Applications Food and Beverage Packaging - bottles, cans, pouches, and other package must be dried prior to packaging. Parts Washing I Drying - removal of cleaning solutions and/or water after washing stations. Metal Finishing Lines - powder coating pretreatment drying and other applications. Continuous Strip I Web Material - removal of water from materials such as plastics or wire mesh. Which Air Knife is right for you? Streamtek Corp., manufactures 2 types of Air Knives. Regular Air Knife & Advanced Air Knife.
