DESCRIPTION: The Vulcan is an industrial-duty, rechargeable, waterproof, portable lantern. It is suitable for use in certain hazardous locations.* CASE MATERIAL: High-impact ABS thermoplastic housing with rubberized cushioned-grip handle. DIMENSIONS: Length: 7.50 in. (19.05 cm) Width: 5 in. (12.70 cm) Height: 6.50 in. (16.51 cm) WEIGHT: 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg) with battery LENS: Unbreakable polycarbonate with scratch resistant coat. LIGHT SOURCE: High-intensity halogen bi-pin bulb available in 8 watt spot. Xenon dual filament 8 watt safety bulb features instant backup beam. LIGHT OUTPUT: Halogen-Bi-pin bulb: 8 watt spot = Up to 80,000 Peak beam candlepower. Bulb Lumens:150 typical. Xenon - Dual Filament: 8 watt spot = up to 70,000 Peak beam candlepower each. Bulb Lumens:157 typical. BATTERY/RUN TIME: Zero-maintenance 4.5Ah sealed lead acid operates up to 3.25 hours per charge and is rechargeable up to 500 times. Red and green LED’s give charge status feedback. IDENTIFICATION: Serialized for positive identification. MODELS: Standard System - In high-visibility yellow or International safety orange. Includes shoulder strap; comes with AC and DC chargers and charging rack; ideal for field maintenance, inspection of construction sites and remote equipment. Vehicle Mount System - In high-visibility yellow or International safety orange, comes with vehicle- mountable hard-wire rack and shoulder carrying strap. Dual Filament System - In high visibility yellow or International safety orange; features backup 8 watt spot; includes shoulder strap; comes with AC and DC chargers and charging rack. APPROVALS*: Factory Mutual (FM) approved for Class l, ll, Ill, Division 2. Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certified for Class I, II, Division 2; Class III. Rack meets requirements of NFPA 1901-12-1.7 mounted in any position. Most models meet applicable European Community Directives. Including ATEX Zone 2 WARRANTY: Limited lifetime warranty.
