Fußschalter von steute Medizin-technik erfüllen alle Bedingun-gen, die sich aus dem Medizin-produktegesetz (Richtlinie93/42/EWG) ergeben. Eine neu-trale Prüfstelle prüft, ob dieSchalter und auch die Produkti-onseinrichtungen den einschlä-gigen Bestimmungen für Medi-zinprodukte entsprechen. Das Ergebnis dieser freiwilligen Prü-fung: steute Fußschalter tragendas Prüfzeichen GM »GeprüftesMedizinprodukt«. Foot switches from steute medi-cal equipment meet all the requirements in the Medical Devices Act MPG (Directive93/42/EEC). An independent au-thority verifies that the switchesand the production facilities con-form to the requirements of theMedical Devices Act. The resultof this voluntary examination isthat steute foot switches are certified with the GM mark »ap-proved medical device«.
