18 Stäubli offers complete solutions combining performance and safety for refuelling of alternative fuel vehicle. Our systems are perfectly adapted: - LPG (liquid petroleum gas) or NGV (natural gas) fuel. - light or heavy duty vehicle - fast (general public) or slow (vehicle fleets) filling. Alternative fuels Environmental protection: a commitment for Stäubli User safety The design of our TYPE 1 NGV 1 filling nozzle makes disconnection impossible while the system is pressured. Installation safety If the vehicle moves away without disconnecting from the dispenser, the Break-away safety device acts like a "mechanical fuse": - automatic cutting of the gas supply - disconnection (without tearing out). Standards and directives Our NGV filling nozzles and couplings are: - compatible with NGV 1 and ISO 14469 plug profiles, - complies with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC) and ATEX Directive (94/9/EC). Excellent flow rate 1000 litres in 3 minutes for gas at 200 bar (GMV nozzle, type 1). User comfort GMV nozzle: lightweight, ergonomic, easy to handle and silent.
