Text version of the page
Merging profitability and performance. The efficiency of a plate mainly relates to the number of magnetic moulds it contains, and where they are located. To merge economic and safety criteria, we have powerful investigation and testing systems enabling us to design efficient systems at the best price. Anticipate, to ensure an effective clamping force. Clamping force display. To ensure safety of your operations, the IMAG displays the clamping force and automatically compares it with the opposing forces* being experienced by the press. - Clamping force > the opposing press forces: the mould can be clamped in complete safety - Clamping force < the opposing press forces: warning message. * The opening, nozzle reaction and ejection forces are entered in the IMAG by your Stäubli installer Mould stock referencing. When each of your moulds is referenced, its initial clamping force is recorded. During subsequent use any variation compared with this standard clamping force is detected and signalled by the system. This enables you to carry out preventive maintenance on your moulds and make productivity savings. 4 Mould movement detection. Detecting any mould movement early makes it possible to anticipate deterioration in the clamping force. This exclusive Stäubli mould detection system owes its effectiveness to: - the very high sensitivity of each coil. - excellent plate coverage, as every module is fitted with a detection coil. Excessive plate temperature warning An autonomous system for optimum safety. Electrical energy is only needed for magnetisation and demagnetisation: - safety in the event of a power cut - reduced energy consumption: you will spend less and you will be contributing to sustainable development.
