StaticControlsStaticBond Charging SystemSpot Charger, Charging Bar, NV20OverviewElectrostatic Charging Systems consist ofthree main parts:1. The applicator or “Bar”, (Static ChargingBar) or “Electrode” (Spot Charger)2. The Power Supply (NV20) and 3. The HV (High Voltage) Cable that connectsthe twoMost charging applicators are made in theform of a bar or rod which is placed across the machine and aimed at the material to be charged. An alternative to “bar” applicators is the smaller, less cumbersome, StaticBond™ Spot Chargers. Although a “bar” may seem instinctively a better choice, equally effective and often times more efficient results can beachieved by placing just a few Spot Chargersstrategically across the material. Electrostatic charges can be deposited on insulative materials most efficiently when the material to be charged is against a grounded back- ground surface.Technical Information and SpecificationStaticBond Charging BarThe StaticBond Charging Bar is an integral part of the the StaticBond Charging System. A sturdy construction and excellent performance highlights the StaticBond Charging Bar from Static Clean . The charging bar offers a safe, efficient means of depositing electrostatic chargeson non-conductive materials such as plastic film and lightweight papers. Our charging bar con- sists of an inner bar of emitter points mounted in a round rigid housing. The emitter points are made of 316 grade stainless steel spaced at .5” on center. Adjustable mounting brackets are provided for a strong and flexible mounting configuration. The 10ft HV cable provided with the charging bar is flexible and detachable for easy maintenance and installation of the charging bar.
