StaticControls BR6100T Passive Static Bar Technical Information and Specification How the Passive Static Bar works The BR6100T is a non-powered static reduction device used primarily on webs of paper or plastic. It becomes more efficient as the electrostatic charge on the material increases. Constructed using very fine conductive synthetic filaments secured in a reinforced aluminum housing, the BR6100T is both easy to install and inexpensive to buy and operate. The BR6100T is ideal for use in coating machines, flexographic presses or on any machine processing highly charged material in a flammable or explosive environment. In some applications where the web speed exceeds 750 FPM, these bars can be used in conjuction with a Static Clean electrically powered ionizer bars.
