Weld Shear WS10 SPECIFICATIONS Features and Benefits Stanley’s powerful yet lightweight WS10 Weld Shear is the ideal tool for shearing thermite welds with a shearing force of over 20,000 lbs (89,000 Nm). Efficient Design allows welds to be sheared prior to dismantling the weld mold, decreasing time to set up, and increasing productivity. Ease of Conversion to either handpowered pump or power unit/truck circuit power adds versatility and convenience to the WS10. Efficient Hand Pump requires less operator effort to advance the blades than competitive models, reducing operator fatigue and allowing better control of the shearing operation. In-Line Handle eliminates rocking the shear on the rail during shearing operation as is common with transverse- handled units. Controls are Placed Away from Shear on both the hand-pump and powered WS10 Weld Shear for greater operator safety. Four Self-Locking Hold Downs maintain blade alignment throughout the shearing operation for higher quality finished welds.
