The Digital I/O Coupler is supplied via the non-intrinsically safe (Ex e) field bus (2-wire device). FF function blocks for DI, DO, MDI, MDO, AI (frequency), CI (counter) and logic LTB are integrated. The Digital I/O Couplers are installed on DIN-rails or in enclosures made out of e.g. plastic or stainless steel.
