The unique PulseTune function on the SM models enables market-leading repetition rates whilst maintaining peak power threshold. These products are designed to address the majority of laser-marking and micromachining applications with peak powers exceeding 7kW. By enabling high repetition rates this product is high speed marking compatible out of the box and, with the added function of a CW mode of operation, bitmap marking is just plug-and-play. It is an easy-to-integrate DCpowered OEM fibre laser module with integral controller designed to interface with common laser-marking equipment. The SM range offers an extension in capability to SPI’s range of pulsed laser products with an M² of <1.3 and giving narrower marking lines and features.
