For over 100 years we have been well known in the area of the housing and electrical goods industry. Competence in development, quality in manufacturing and reliability in service are the qualities that our clients have come to expect and appreciate from Spelsberg. During the 80s, though several oil crises and steadily increasing popular envi- ronmental consciousness, solar energy increasingly became a topic of discussion. As photovoltaic systems wereintroduced on the market, Spelsberg was among the first companies to become involved and was responsible for the development of specialised enclosures for modules.At that time, we were uniquepioneers – since then, solar modules have made their way onto many roofs; the boom appears to continue and silicon, the material from which the modules are produced, can hardly be produced rapidly enough to satisfy growing demand. 2 Günther Spelsberg GmbH + Co.
