UCT 21 CLIP tester - Sparnex - #1

APPLICATION

The UCT 21 is very easy to operate. The user picks a test signal from the accompanying track list, plays the signal on an audio CD player or CD ROM player and checks the response of the equipment under test.

The left channel of the audio CD player/CDROM player serves as signalling and ringing channel, the right channel as data chan­nel for FSK data. Before initial operation both channels have to be equalized manually by adjusting the calibration tuner. This is carried out with the help of a calibration track on the CD. With the built-in VU meter of the CLT 1000, the customer can verify the calibration of the instrument.
