Capacitor discharge stud welding

The SK-1K stud welding head with pedestal device and manual stud feed allows in conjunction with the BMS-8N SOYER stud welder the stationary weld­ing of welding elements on metallic workpieces at lightning speed.

The solid, hand-operated pedestal device with SK-1K welding head is the simplest type of a stationary retainer for welding heads in the extensive SOYER product range. The main advantages are the exact positioning of the studs, reduced spatial requirements, ergonomic operating layout, uncomplicated handling and automatic grounding with simultaneous fixing of the workpiece, as well as high efficiency even with smaller series and individual pieces.
