General Description

The RingMaster is a highly efficient ultrasonic bonder developed for manufacturers of bag filters for chemical and industrial liquid applications. Using three 20 kHz ultrasonic modules and 1500 B ag system is designedwith three welding modules spaced 120°apart around a center fixture. To begin the process, the operator manually loads the plastic ring and filter bag onto the fixture, then activates the optical touch start buttons. The three welding heads close on the part, weld, and retract, performing the first of two weld functions. In the first step, each head welds 1 - stepprocess is accomplished in less than 10 seconds, without the use of consumables such as adhesives or thread. Custom tooling is available to accommodate a variety of bag sizes and ring diameters.Assembly process: The RingMaster Filter - wattpower supplies, the equipment joins the bag to a rigid plastic circular frame, producing a dependable 360°bond. The 2 60° before the heads close in to bond the remainder of the bag. RingMaster was awarded the 2004 IDEA Equipment Achievement Awardby Nonwovens Industrymagazine and INDA, the Association of the Nonwovens Fabrics Industry.Three weldingheads each bond 1/6 of the bag, and then retract to allow the center fixture to rotate
