INTRODUCTION : - The wetting unit is a device ensuring a twin water spraying before introducing a dry reagent chemical into a dilution tank. Water is by-passed from the tank water supply through the regulation system. ADVANTAGES : Avoids dust in the mixing tank Improves the slurry mixing quality (more homogeneous) Eases contact between water and hydrophabic powder INSTALLATION : - The wetting unit is installed between dry chemical feeder and dilution tank RANGE OF USE : Slurry preparation Hydro-ejector feeding ITEMS : 1 - Dry reagent inlet 2 - Tangential spray 3 - Concentric spray 4 - Dilution tank inlet 5 - Water inlet 6 - Regulation valve 7 - Regulation valve OPERATION : - By adjusting valve item 8, all or part of the water coming from the regulation panel goes into the wet-ting unit. - The quantity of water supplied to the wetting unit has to be adjusted with two cocks : - valve item 6 for tangential spray 2 - valve item 7 for concentric spray 3
