Why spherical rollerbearings?

Spherical roller bearings with integ-ral seals offer additional benefits. •Grease retention Spherical roller bearings offer an at-tractive combination of design features, which are making them irreplaceable in many demanding applications. •Protection against contamination Contact seals on both sides of the bearing retain the factory filled grease where it is required: inside the bearing. •Self-aligning •Very high load carrying capacity •Robust Sealed spherical roller bearings are especially suited for bearing posi- tions where, because of limited space or for cost reasons, effective external seals cannot be provided. •Easily fitted for loads in all directions Spherical roller bearings allow misalignment between shaft and housing without increase of friction and without reduction of bearing life. Optimum layout inside available cross-section provides maximum radial and axial load carrying capacity. Insensitive to misalignment caused by shaft or housing deflection due to heavy load. •Easy bearing application The bearings are non-separable and ready to install using a number of mounting methods. The favourable design character- istics and mounting enable for a more efficient and compact machine design. 3
