This catalogue gives a representative over-view of the range of needle roller bearingsand truck runner bearings available from SKF.Compared with the SKF catalogues 4001and 4703, which it replaces, this cataloguecontains considerable alterations and addi- tions and the assortment has been broughtup to date.This catalogue contains all the data relev-ant to the needle roller and track runner bearings shown. The product tables containall the data required to select a bearing andfor the arrangement of the bearing. A descrip- tionof the bearing type including designfea-tures and other information precedes eachproduct table section. General data regard-ing speeds, bearing tolerances, internalclearance, materials, supplementary desig- nations and also the design of associatedcomponents are included in the catalogue.The catalogue is designed to enable theinformation regarding a particular product to be quickly and easily accessed. The con- tents are divided into four sections whichare clearly identified. The data shown in this catalogue is based on the state of the art in the end of 2000. Thus, compared with the previous catalogue data have been changed or addedas a result of product redesign, or more recent computer calculations. The basic dynamic and static load ratings have beencalculated according to the latest standards.The right is reserved make any changesnecessitated by the continuous improvementof the product with respect to materials, design and manufacture.
