(2) The mode flexible schedule allows the totalling of the shift time only when the machine is running and during the coded downtime. The totalizing of machine time starts and stops with the machine production. (3) A machine event is created and stored in memory at each time a machine changes status. Example: capture of downtime, start new production order, input of scrapped parts, etc... The autonomy in events indicates the capacity of the terminal to function on its own (disconnected from the central box) depending on the frequency and nature of productions problems. Indication of the average autonomy for the plastics industry : CYCLADES 16 15 minutes CYCLADES 20 2 days CYCLADES 34G 3 days Function CYCLADES 16 CYCLADES 20 CYCLADES 34G Down time Capture and totalizing downtime Number of downtime causes (1) Yes 10 Yes 20 Yes 30 Scrap Input of number of scrapped parts Input of reasons for scrap Number of scrap causes Yes Yes 10 Yes Yes 20 Yes Yes 30 Production order Number of follow-on orders Start a follow-on order Display running order Display a follow-on order Number of different product numbers manufactured simultaneously 1 Yes Yes Non 2 5 Yes Yes Yes 10 5 Yes Yes Yes 10 Shift Normal schedule Flexible schedule (2) Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Autonomy Battery Autonomy (no network) Autonomy in number of events Machine (3) 5 years 10 5 years 500 5 years 1000 SPC Parts Process / Machine Transfer of the dimensions to the PC SPC display on the terminal No No No No No No No No Yes Yes Yes Yes Possible barcode reading on serial link No Yes (option) Yes Protocole network Standard Other SECNET If asked SECNET If asked SECNET If asked Inputs for counting Number Max. frequency Galvanic isolation filtering Supply 12V DC 1 10 Hz Yes Inside terminal 1 30 Hz Yes Inside terminal 4 30 Hz Yes Inside terminal 0/1 Inputs Number Galvanic isolation filtering Supply 12V DC 2 Yes Inside terminal 2 Yes Inside terminal 8 Yes Inside terminal Output relays (Contact 250V~ 3 A) 1 2 4
