SYSTEM LAYOUT
(1) Three ways for coding downtime:
1- Operator push on key
corresponding to downtime reason.
2- No machine cycles during a
programmable period of time.
3- Change status of a 0/1 input.
(2) The mode flexible schedule allows the
totalling of the shift time only when the
machine is running and during the coded
downtime. The totalizing of machine time
starts and stops with the machine
production.
(3) A machine event is created and stored in
memory at each time a machine
changes status. Example: capture of
downtime, start new production order,
input of scrapped parts, etc...
The autonomy in events indicates the
capacity of the terminal to function on its
own (disconnected from the central box)
depending on the frequency and nature of
productions problems.
