Once it has been secured to your mounting surface, any of Silicon Designs’ single axis accelerometer modules can then be screwed attached to the block using two of the included #4-40 screws. This mounting method is useful for applications in which a #10-32 hole already exists in your mounting surface. Alternatively, the 2235-BLK can be glued down to your mounting surface. The block is precision machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and has a black anodized finish. Its low mass is achieved by the strategic location of mass reduction holes. Both the captive screw and the #4-40 black oxide finish fasteners are stainless steel for corrosion resistance.
