plug adapter or fixed connecting cableIn the center of the brass turbine body there is the pla-stic turbine system. For design reasons, there is a ringgap around the turbine system. A part of the liquid flowmakes the turbine rotate while the other part flowsthrough the ring gap without obstruction. This specialconstruction does not influence the measurement result,the output signal of the sensor is equal to the completevolume flow rate. The high-quality saphire-bearings and the low rotationrate provide the turbine with an exceptional life time.The rotation of the rotor is now converted into an electri-cal pulsed signal (frequency):

Design and function

VTH and VTM have rotors which are equipped withmagnets. A Hall-sensor recognizes the rotation of therotor.

The rotor of VTI is equipped with stainless steel pins.An inductive proximity switch detects the rotation ofthe rotor.In both cases, a flow-proportional frequency signal(square wave signal) is available. Schematic representation-14-
