310/410
Heavy-duty main drive
runs in synthetic
lubricant for long life.
Flexible bumper-mounted obstacle sensor
stops arm rotation if beam is broken.
The downright is specially reinforced for low weight
and high strength. With a rotation speed of 18 RPM,
the 410 wraps up to 50 loads per hour. The 310, with
a rotation speed of 12 RPM, wraps up to 35 loads per
hour.
Height sensing photo eye stops carriage ascent once
the top of the load is detected.
Adjustable force
to load lets you
wrap fragile loads
with minimum
tension, stable
loads with more
tension.
Whatever your load type, whatever your mounting
configuration, you can count on the SpiralGrip™ 310
and 410 semiautomatic stretch wrapping machines to
get the job done. These systems were designed
specifically for loads that can’t be moved or rotated
during wrapping because of their instability or shape.
The 310 and 410 are perfect for light, fragile, extra
heavy or unstable loads. During the wrapping cycle, the
load remains stationary while the film carriage rotates
around it.
The 310 and 410 come equipped with the patented
Sensor-Stretch™ powered prestretch film delivery
system for optimal film economy. Stretch film is
elongated between two specially textured power
driven rollers before being wrapped around the load.
The standard prestretch rate of 250% is fixed to avoid
operator tampering and assure consistent wrapping
results, day after day. Higher or lower stretch levels
are available to fit your particular application. For the
best results, use SpiralGrip premium grade stretch
film. SpiralGrip stretch film has the superior strength
and load holding power required when using powered
prestretch systems.
Tilted film carriage design wraps loads to
within 51mm of the floor.
• Ideal for Unstable Loads
Because loads are stationary during wrapping,
throughput speeds can be higher than most turntable
systems will allow. At 18 RPM, the 310 and 410 can
wrap a 52" wide x 52" long by 60" high load in less
than 34 seconds. You can increase the throughput
even further by mounting the 310 or 410 on Signode’s
dual station wrapping stand which lets you wrap one
load while a second load is being staged.
• The Lowest Cost per Load
• Wrap up to 35 Loads per Hour
The SpiralGrip 310 and 410 can be mounted in a variety
of ways; on a wall, on a support column, or on a
Signode free standing floor stand (as pictured above).
The SpiralGrip 310 and 410 are ideal
for stretch wrapping difficult loads.
Because stretch film is rotated around
the load, rather than turning the load,
light and unstable loads can easily be
unitized with a secure web of film.
