The dimensions of the MSRC and the paddles dépend on the required Lowest Useable Frequency (LUF) in each chamber and the field strengths to be obtained. The larger the dimensions of the chamber, the lower the LUF.

Compact solutions have been designed, in order to generate high field strengths with extremely low incident power, in ranges of high frequencies. SIEPEL has developed EOLE 1000, a mini MSRC of only 0.98x0.82x1.24m (LxWxH). It can be used to work from 1GHz on a uniform volume of 0.72x0.56x0.4m (LxWxH), which is perfectly suitable for testing in compliance with AIRBUS ABD0100.1 standard^ on category A "critical equipment" devices. It is therefore possible to generate 3,000V/m with only a few hundred watts input power.

Standard models have been developed according to this principle, to match the requirements of each industry sector. These are the models in the EOLE series, which can be used to work from 80,100,120, 200, 400MHz or 1GHz. As an example, EOLE 400, which is a model adapted to civil, military and automotive applications, has the optimized external dimensions 3.8x2.6x3m (LxWxH).
