SHIELDING PANELS FEATURES

The core material used between the steel sheets is made of a special, high quality, particle board, pressed under 200 bars, with a density of 700 kg/m
3 . This core material is compliant with EN 312-1/2/3/4/5 standards. Two galvanized steel sheets 55/100
th mm thick, compliant with DIN 1623 and EN 10142 standards, are glued on both sides of the core panel, using top quality latex based glue

PANELS ASSEMBLY

The panels assembly is made without drilling any hole in the shielding and without gaskets , using electro-galvanized steel framing (OMEGA profiles). The panels and joining OMEGA profiles are kept under pressure by better electric conductivity. self-tapping screws , every 95 mm, for a perfect mechanical assembly, no risk of corrosion and no possibility for the screw to come loose. The assembly is performed without inserts or washers, in order to provide a The overall structure is strongly reinforced through the installation of external stiffeners (special shaped steel profiles, as per SIEPEL design) wherever needed on the shielded enclosure. These profiles are made from highest quality Z275 galvanized steel com p liant with EN 10147 and EN 10143 standards.
