The new DME4000 laser distance measurement system is ideal for perfect position detection of the storage and retrieval devices in the aisle. It offers ranges of up to 220 m, integrated speed monitoring, and multifunctional switching outputs, e.g. for pre-defined distance values or an advance failure warning. With its temperature range of +55 °C to –40 °C, the DME4000 can also be used in deep-freeze warehouses. The new DMP3 position finder is the per-fect and unique solution for fine position- ing the load-uptake equipment of stor- age and retrieval devices. Storage bay occupied?The new DS30 distance sensor answers this question – also in double-depth stor- age bays, thanks to its two switching out- puts. Communication with the storage and retrieval device is handled by the new ISD400 data photoelectric switch. With compact dimensions and equipped with an informative display, the ISD400 offers a high level of user-friendliness during parameterisation, alignment or status queries.A package of sensors – the perfect solu-tion for storage and retrieval devices!

MZT8 – short and sweet developments

The new MZT8 magnetic cylinder sensor offers a whole range of new developments. SICK’s ASIC chip technology allows one of the shortest housings available combined with maximum accuracy. As a result of the new design and the innovative production pro- cess, the MZT8 achieves best results for handling and watertightness.

With a length of just 24 mm, the MZT8 is one of the most space-saving mag- netic cylinder sensors on the market. Its user-friendliness is a further high- light – achieved, among other ways, through the possibility of single-hand mounting and mounting screws that cannot be lost (because they cannot fall out during fixing of the sensor in the cylinder slot).As the sensor element of the MZT8 is located at the front of the housing, the device can detect piston positions without travel loss.
