OD Precision, the new highly pre-cise sensor for accurate distance measurement, is the first choice for demanding quality and positioning tasks. OD Precision offers even better accuracy and linearity. The OD sensor head, available for five different measurement ranges (24 to 700 mm), has an integrated RS-422 interface and can be directly integrated in the automation system, e.g. a robot or handling system. An easily param- eterised, menu-guided, evaluation unit is available for processing measure-ment values. Rapid processes are ac-curately detectable with its output rate of 10 kHz.
