A comprehensive platform: from safety relays to Flexi Classic (whose logic is programmed with a screwdriver) or the new Flexi Soft with its consistent sym- bol-oriented programming software – SICK safety controllers are system-open and flexibly expandable solutions. Com-fortable wiring and intuitive parameteri- sation ensure simple integration in the machine control system. sens:Control offers innovative safety network solu- tions and gateways that permit the connection and evaluation of safety-ori-ented components in a variety of field- buses, and thus in the standard control system – for machines and plants with high levels of networking.

The new plus for safety

SICK has consistently expanded its product portfolio for safety technology with the emergency stop pushbuttons of the ES21 series. Whether with an enclosure rating of IP 65 or IP 69K, the buttons comply with the relevant EN ISO 13850 (EN 418) and EN 60947-5-5 standards, are tamper-proof and offer integration in a machine control panel or direct mounting on a machine by means of a mounted housing. The pro- gramme also includes variants with integrated LED illumination, protective collar or a locking system.
