Online analysis of TOC parameter is rapidly becoming very significant in indus­trial processing techniques (cooling water circuitry) and in all areas of water and wastewater technology. In addition to organic carbon, the determination of total nitrogen content is also of great interest.

One of the main points for online analysis is the sampling procedure. To optimize the sampling for each application different sampling units are available. Further modifications for rinsing are possible.

The instrument can be started up and calibrated from an external control unit and offers the choice of several sample streams. A multitude of alarm- and status signals simplifies the detection of exceeded limit values and the need for maintenance. Automatic dilution function and calibration checks enable highly automated operation of the instruments.
