Batteries died quickly, solar cells were too unreliable in bad weather, and generators were noisy, required high maintenance, and were banned in many places. Those problems are history: the EFOY Pro Series provides a user-friendly solution for industrial applications anywhere, anytime.

The EFOY Pro is the intelligent alternative. Connected directly to

the battery powering a device, it recharges it fully automatically

whenever necessary. Worry-free remote monitoring provides assu­rance that the fuel cell is doing its job. The EFOY Pro converts

methanol directly into electricity in a single step. What's more, the

process requires no moving parts so that generation is highly effi­cient, quiet and totally maintenance free.

A fuel cell generates electricity completely independent of its en­vironment. It produces power continuously as long as there is fuel. If necessary, it can work 24 hours a day at temperatures ranging from 20 below to 45 degrees centigrade.

The EFOY Pro uses liquid methanol, a fuel that has superior energy density. Ten liters of methanol, weighing a mere 8.4 kg, can gene­rate 11.1 kilowatt hours. The same amount of energy stored in a battery would weigh 279 kg. Ten liters of methanol can power a 10-watt device for six weeks totally maintenance free.

The EFOY Pro remains maintenance free throughout its entire life. Since it can charge standard batteries directly, it easily integrates into existing facilities. Just hook it up to the battery. It performs

equally well in hybrid configurations with solar modules. Opera­tion is intuitive, either on site directly, or remotely, by means of a GSM modem.

The fuel cell and cartridge can be installed in the EFOY ProCube to prevent theft and vandalism. You can even hide the EFOY under­ground or integrate it into a switch cabinet.
