Rugged track-proven design

Coolers for demanding environments Air fins The standard design of Setrab coolers is based onshallow tubes with internal turbulators and externalfins. In many of our coolers we force the oil to travel through the cooler two or three times, which results ineven higher performance output. The special method of manufacturing involves thefull brazing of all inner and outer contact surfaces, resulting in a highly efficient heat exchange. Air fins are louvred to ensure optimum heat transfer tothe air. Complete brazing All our coolers are fully brazed with the Nocolokmethod, which ensures complete brazing of all inter- nal and external contact surfaces and a brazed seamthat withstands vibrations and pulsations in the hard-est environment. The coolers are epoxy-coated tofurther enhance the outer corrosion resistance and to give the coolers a high surface finish. Turbulators The turbulator, which controls the oil flow so that themaximum heat transfer is obtained, is designed forlow oil pressure drop without the formation of a heat-insulating boundary layer in the oil tube. Quality is our guiding star Quality has top priority for Setrab. For us it is naturalthat quality is the guiding star when it comes toservice and design, as well as production and distribu-tion, to achieve the result the customer expects. We are working towards the highest quality on alllevels within the organization, and the continuousdevelopment of our quality assurance system is aprocess that engages all of our employees. Connections to all The STD, COM, CP and TOC coolers are supplied with aconnection adapter system allowing them to connectto all systems.
