Radial and Axial Runout
SETCO's standard SMART SPINDLE with optimized design parameters and ceramic ball bearings front and rear will provide a greater increase in static and dynamic stiffness compared to steel ball bearings.
Lightweight ceramic balls, with a greater modu­lus of elasticity and lower coefficient of friction, will allow higher speeds and increased bearing life. This results in a spindle that meets or exceeds your future machining or manufacturing requirements.
