Air/metered oil lubrication is available for all SMART SPINDLES when RPM exceeds the maximum limit of grease. This lubrication system uses a small amount of oil {approximately 0.010,05 cc/bearing every 5 min.) and a high volume of air (approximately 0.1-0.3 cu.m/min at 3.0-4.0 bar). The air used, with an air/metered oil lubrication system, must be clean (5 micron) and dry (40° dew point).
