A Precision Ground Thread Ballscrew package with
integral
preloaded single ballnut is recommended for

Optimum positioning accuracy and repeatability are required.
Backlash cannot be tolerated. Optimum stiffness and smooth, linear motion are required. The lead accuracy of the precision ballscrew is within
0.0005 in./ft. cumulative, with the integral preloaded single ballnut providing zero backlash
To protect the ballscrew from contaminants, optional accordion protectors are recommended.
Applications requiring long travels or high traverse rates may require an optional outboard support mounted on the end opposite the drive.
